As you know, we are all dealing with a national crisis regarding coronavirus or COVID-19.  On March 11, the World Health Organization declared the threat of COVID-19 a global pandemic.

In Virginia our Governor declared a state of emergency on March 12.  We all must remain vigilant and stay well informed to stay safe and healthy during this time.  We must look out for each other at this critical time. Virginia’s agencies including our health department, our schools, hospitals and transit systems have been thoroughly preparing for this challenge. Together, we will get through this.

Call and check in on your neighbors. Call and check in on your relatives, particularly the seniors in your family. Be wary of misinformation online.  Information may change over the coming days and weeks.
